Hao Chi Durians

Lousy durians, even worse attitude. 不好吃。 Bought 4 boxes, 2 boxes MSW 2 boxes XO. Once delivered, we opened it up to eat only to find that MSW was hard and inside extremely soggy. XO was just plain hard. When I informed them, they said they'll compensate 2 boxes. But it's 4 boxes that I bought, not 2. And when I tried to reason with them - they started shouting at me. I understand durian is never guarantee, no matter what they say. But this kind of attitude, with this kind of lousy quality. Never patronising ever again!

You should always be there physically when you buy durians so they they open it in front of you and you can check the quality of it. We always go down and get the guy to open a fresh one for us so we have had no problems with their durians. Reasonably priced and they replace the watery pieces for us. Guy is not that friendly so they get one star less. We enjoy D24 and MSW but D24 is usually good enough for us when we are craving.

Bought online during their FB live June 2022, paid over $100 for 3 boxes of durian. Durian RECEIVED are not of good quality type. Durians are soggy, some are half hard, half soft, big seeds and very little meat. Feedback to them Seller get upset and become Rude. Never buy from them online or FB live no matter what 'celebrities' that are selling. These Seller have no integrity, don't care what they are sent out.

Used to be good in 2019/2020 and I used to be a very loyal supporter buying at least twice every season. Since then, the quality of their durians has drastically deteriorated. Even though the price tag is similar to other (Pahang) MSW suppliers outside, their flavour is ALWAYS lousier and there is ALWAYS hard meat/seeds per pack. The service is even lousier - when you have lousy products, they say they’ll compensate next round, who wants to continue wasting money to buy such lousy durian. Anyway, long story short, as a super durian lover to another that is reading reviews and deciding if you should buy from them, DO NOT. LOUSY.

Terrible durians. Usually i buy mine at bentong durian at holland. But my mom decided to try this stall and the durian is so bad. MSW $22/KG (similar price to bentong). Durian were partially unripe. The taste of MSW is not as strong and fragrance. Dishonest seller. Will not patronise again. I would recommend you guys to go bentong or ah seng durian instead. Similar price but much much better in quality.

The durians were hit and miss. Not like Ah Seng's in Ghim Moh market where they have always been of good quality (otherwise they won't sell it I reckon). This Hao Chi stall at Sunset Way seems to not really care if the durians are of poor quality....gladly palm them off to unsuspecting customers like me :-( What however makes the experience just awful is the general attitude of the workers, who seem to take the cue from their boss (I think he's the one always counting money and keeping track of sales). Very old school and gangster like in his dealings. When I dared to tell the durian seller that one of the durians he gave me was "watery", he remarked dryly that other customers don't complain so it's fine, turned and walked away.....terrible attitude. I would so avoid buying durians here!
