Charcoal Thai

Had dinner there, the price is decent (possible the cheapest for buffet in the category in singapore). Food choice not so much, but i like the green thai sauce. My pro : 1.decent and low price 2.love the waiter that help us anytime i need anything. 3.love the green thai sauce My cons: 1.food selection not vary and quality is so-so 2.soup is a bit bland, the taste of tom-yun soup is good. Thats all for my review.

The place was casual and noisy, but the food was average. Food variety was good, with both cooked dishes and raw sliced meats for hotpots. The restaurant lacked local exhaust ventillation, resulting in relatively higher temperatures in the restaurant due to the hotpots and Mookatas being ran. Ambience was typical of a casual, economically priced restaurant. Some parts of the restaurant became congested as it filled with patrons for the evening. Reserve a seat or expect to wait for seating. Student prices available for both lunch and dinner, weekday and weekend.

Their marketing prefers one-time customers. Their location is obscure, so they offer a variant of promotions. But once you visit, you will be amazed (or not amazed) by their limited selections. Their food freshness is compared to a hawker centre Mookata or worse. Almost no service. I’m sure most people felt the same way - visit once and never again. But given that it’s Vivocity, they continue to have customers...

Rubbish! It's Valentine's Day. I made a reservation online. Hoping to beat the crowd. And guess what i still have to q to be seated. Q for a while is fine. But The restaurant can't even manage at all. Only 1 floor staff working! WTH!!! Bloody waste of customer's time and what a spoiled dinner. If you can't even manage dun open business for that day and dun even take in any reservations. Seriously........

I bought 6 voucher to bring my family to eat Mookata at charcoal thai . Before i bought this ticket the system show can redeem on clementi or vivo . Then we decided to dine in at vivo . But when all of us reached there they tell us we cant use at this branch , we check back the apps the location is already changed . They insist they never change and al along is only available at nex and clementi . Then does it means me and my husband eyes are having problem ! Its really spoiled our dinner mood !!!! Super poor manage system !!! What different to having dinner buffet there since customer already there ! Will never ever come to this shop again !!!
