Pastamania (bugis Junction)

Visited on 3/7. Dine in at 11.30am. Ordered turkey bacon aglio pasta and honey garlic chicken. The food came quite fast as the restaurant was not very crowded either. The pasta was tasty and consistent as what i remember. The honey garlic chicken, i think the recipe changed from what i call, or the ingredient change a bit. Now its abit more skin/ more fried-crispy type. I kind of like it, not necessarily better or worse than the previous style, but not bad either.

Level of fanatism: It was my Daughters Birthday. We went to pastamania at Bugis Junction. We got a cake from a bakery called Four Leaves which is just next to Pastamania Just when my daughter was about to cut the cake, the manager came and said we cant cut the cake as its not Halal. This is after I told that we were vegetarian(while ordering food). Later he said that we can cut but we cant use their spoon and plates and he got us plastic cutlery and disposable soup bowls to put the cake slice in as our cake would pollute their cutlery which otherwise serves all kind of non veg. Height of senselessness, fanatism and radicalism which i never expected in Singapore. FOOD: Frozen Pizza tastes better than what was served. Aglio Olio was completely off the original recipe. Waffle potatoes were good,. In all a pathetic experience.

The elderly male and male cashier are really nice. Kudos to them. Like many reviews on here, there was a really rude female staff who scolded me for not waiting at the right place for take away 🙄 she could've spoken in a nicer tone imo. Food takes forever to get prepared even without a queue/ not crowded/ no pending food delivery orders. Waited for 20 minutes for them to cook one pasta. Not efficient at all.
