Ordered steamboat and a few side dishes. The pork rib portion is pathetic and the flavour is too sweet for a savoury dish. The stir fry vegetable is acceptable, nothing fascinating. The steamboat is not amazing. The soup lack of flavour, needed to add chilli to make it more tasty. The texture of the fish is good but lack of flavour. The vegetable portion in the steamboat is general.

Meet a few friends there for dinner. It’s was my friend that suggested Meng Seafood Steamboat. Probably it was a weekday that’s why it ain’t that crowded. I would say the steamboat is average, but it’s a good dining place in the Neighbourhood. The Kang Kong is really nice, the samba chili is great. It’s a must try. The fried chicken wings and toufu is ok. Service is good, they ran out of Guinness but the boss went to and bought us some, probably from nearby supermarket. Overall a good experience, a good dining experience.

The fish head Steamboat is more of herbal taste which is good. However the fish are sliced too thinly and it will disintegrate once boil. You cannot really taste the tenderness or freshness of the fish. We tried different types of fish available here and the freshness of the fish need to be improved. The soup is good but the main star should be the fish too. The portion can be increased a bit as the vegatables and tang hoon are not much. Staffs are nice and attentive though. But hopefully the food quality improve more! Maybe you can try their other dishes there which seemed not bad. And their chili is good!

By far the worst fish head steamboat ever eaten. The soup doesn’t taste like fish head steamboat, the fish head amount is so pathetic and not fresh at all. On top of this the shop violated safe distancing rules, customers sitting back to back and in tables that are crossed out. Don’t bother to even try
