Liu Da Ma Charcoal Bbq Restaurant

A competitor to BBQ Box, this place provides an authentic atmosphere as though you are in China. Food is well marinated and what makes it interesting is the real charcoal used to heat up the skewers. A famous delicacy served here is the lamb leg which is a massive portion and will need at least 4 adults to finish. Drinks are reasonably cheap. Service is crisp and sharp, just the way I like it. No frills. Do make reservations unless you are planning to drop in at 5pm and prepared to leave by 7pm.

Authentic China BBQ. The setting and environment is also very China 😅. The lamb legs, lamb chop and grilled fish is a must have. The lamb leg is big and would be good for at least 4 person. Would suggest bigger group if wanted to try the lamb leg. All the dish are properly marinated. Very reasonable priced.

This shop is situated long an alley.. Unfortunately that day aircon seems not working well hence stuffy but the food overwrite it. Menu via tablet.. Service was efficient.. Food was tasty.. Sauce blended well. Also variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. Will definitely drop by again.

Lamb is seasoned super well and cooking it over charcoal really adds to the flavor. Dipping the pieces in spicy flakes and black vinegar was surprisingly delicious too. Overall, loved the experience but I wish the quality of the lamb itself was better. Of course service was poor, but I didn't come for good service so who cares. It adds to the experience in my opinion

Came with friends in end May this year. We found those chicken/beef skewers too dried and hard to chew, probably over cooked…Chilli brinjal was good. As for that diced chicken with chilli (辣子鸡), chicken is not well-seasoned as compared to other Chinese restaurants. Overall the food quality is on average.

This is basically a hidden gem!! I love this place so much!! It feels so comfortable and everything is well prepared for you. The food is 10/10!! Feels so authentic and nice!! Their chilli powder is the best and it is not very spicy but it pairs well with all the food stick! Definitely will come again! The staff are nice too and fast service.
