Wonderful Durian

I was shocked to read the reviews here after I ate at this place. Perhaps I just miraculously missed a scam, perhaps these reviews are just too harsh. But I did ate 6 wonderful durians for just $50. We did speak Hokkian and confirmed to the seller if the price offered was for each durian not per kg. The durians we ate were very tasty. 1 durian was rotten but we directly asked for replacement and they changed it.

This stall is well known but disappointed that they cheat customer. I went to sultan street and the MSW they selling at that time is 20/kg. The taste is bland. The seed is big. The flesh is not good. Is not MSW and yet they put there is MSW. They say got different MSW want better get the 38/kg. The one we eat is not even MSW. That is only 1 type of MSW. The different is the origins of the fruits only. After we finished and go pay they said $48 but charges us $45. When we argue is not MSW and said the taste so bland. Is not rich in taste. The worker got the cheeck to denied then just chrage us $40 for normal durian. Now I google and find out tips how to recognize a good MSW. 1. The Mao Shan Wang thorns are pyramidal in shape instead of conical. The pyramid is angular and has flat sides. 2. The ring at the bottom of the Mao Shan Wang's stem is brownish and relatively bald. 3. The bottom of a Mao Shan Wang is bald and flat (like the flat body of a starfish). 4. Mao Shan Wangs are usually oval like a rugby ball (and sometimes even shaped like a kidney). Please do not buy from this seller. Is durian season when I buy from them and yet they can still cheat people

Fruit quality was not so great for the price I had to pay. Durian was not even ripe, young coconut was not that great, the only decent think was the jackfruit. I normally very easy going, lenient and keen on supporting local business. But this one is not one of this place. Hope the owner improve the business practice and get better products.

I've never like to curse any1 business before but this place isnt even worth a 0 rating. Should be negative -10.... its ruin whole experience as a tourist coming to Singapore. They are RUTHLESS!!. making money unethically... this horrible store has tick me off my radar... $80 for a durian.. Singapore has very strict laws but how can they let such ruthless store operating...riping tourists off this way from base on other reviews left about them.... I'm very cautious and always ask for pricing but this place play the game really well as they been doing this disgusting act many times... i just was asking for pricing and they pretend to not speak English and just cut the durian out and make me paid!! They gang up on me and i was intimidated into forcefully buying it. When i clearly said stop dont open i dont want it!!!! DO NOT GO HERE...

There are many durian stalls around in Singapore. I tried many and find this stall sell the worse durian. In my opinion, don’t even try your luck here. Go anywhere else could be better than this Wonderful. They are “WONDERFUL” earning your bucks. I wish I can review it 0 star. 1. The durian looks expensive to make it seem genuine. 2. Salesman try to sell you at half the price. Makes you feel like a good deal. 3. Taking home the durian and find out it’s not the real stuff. Nothing much you can do about it.
