The dishes here aren’t the usual fare - nice fusion of international cuisine with a Singaporean twist 🇸🇬 the servings are small, allowing us to try a variety of food. The satays, krapow prata, oyster omelette spaghettini and chendol stood out for us 👍

5 star service, 3 star food. Decided to pop by for lunch because of all the raving reviews on Google. Asked for recommendations from the lovely server and she very patiently explained most dishes to us that we found interesting. We settled with the fish collagen broth udon, fried frog legs, and hae bee hiam spag. She very nicely arranged for the udon and frog legs to be sent out first, and held the spaghettini until we were 90% done with the first 2 dishes. The fish udon arrived and it honestly smells quite good, however the taste of the broth is really fishy and it just overpowers the entire dish (腥味). I know it’s fish soup and they didn’t use milk and it’s au naturale, but there’s just something off about it. Enjoyed the texture of the udon noodles though. Tried our best to finish the dish. The hae bee hiam spag is a good portion size, but somehow the sauce is just bordering on the sweeter side, yet also salty. There’s no overall balance to the dish. We couldn’t bring ourselves to finish this. The star dish, however, is the fried frogs legs. Arrived piping hot and super crispy, very meaty. Well coated batter and good balance between batter and meat. Must must must order. I really wanted to love this place. I’m not sure if it’s because my expectations were raised due to all the good reviews + it’s helmed by a celebrity chef, but it’s just not as fantastic as I hoped it would be. I’m contemplating if I should return to try the rest of the menu. Maybe dinner time for their small and medium plates..

Indeed Chef Willin is the father of modern singaporean cuisine! Been there twice already - once for his omakase dinner and this time round for his collabs with Annette (Fat Fuku). This collab menu ends on 15 Nov. Nonetheless, I loved how he conceptualised the food in a funky yet locally inspired flavour. Each bites gives new surprises and will leave you WOW! See you soon!!!

A hidden gem located near to busy telok ayer street. Great ambience as we come on Saturday night where the Fraser tower is rather empty. Greater with nice decor and friendly waitresses. Not so cramp in term of seating arrangement especially during pandemic time. Served fusion food with lots of twist with local , western and Japanese ingredients. Ordered : fried pork belly and it tasted like keropok and definitely goes well with few beer! Fish collagen soup tastes like my home cooked chicken soup and just average. Pop corn chicken with mala taste is quite delicious but must eat when is still hot. Har Kao with glass noodle added marmite peanut sauce.. very unique taste but is quite yummy! The tofu salad is refreshing especially watching with heavy iberico pork satay and peanut sauce. Enjoyed the big plate especially the beef rendang shepherds pie and the spicy sambal spaghetti topping with few fried oysters. Fried Unami fries probably not worth it as it just normal fried topping with cheese and few fish flakes! Nothing special though .. Enjoyable food and will come back again for different dishes.
