Ordered the paper crust fish and chip. The fish is mushy which is not fresh, and the carrot is super dry. The crust is thick and powdery. I should've walked across to eat the fish and chip at the hawker center which is at least decent. They charged me for cold water 80cents before GST. Omg. What a terrible rip off. Please avoid this place and let it close down fast. Still got GST... They played techno music which irritated me. I like techno but they have very poor choice and taste of music. You will not enjoy the ambient.

Flank steak arrived black (?!?!), dry, super chewy like chewing gum and had a weird taste. Didn't feel safe eating it. Fries were stale. Fish was not fresh - had a sour taste and stench. Milkshake was just blended cheap ice cream (and rather diluted). Probably a relatively new place along the stretch with stiff competition...and empty for good reason at 6pm. Ambience and service was good but won't return just for that.

I honestly don’t even know where to start. Arrived at 8 pm only to have to wait AN ENTIRE HOUR just for the appetiser (yes, just the appetiser) to arrive. The wait wasn’t worth it too - the salted egg fries we ordered were literally just fries topped with some sort of salted egg powder?? (Which really gets me thinking - how is it possible for fries to require an entire hour for preparation?) Mains were mediocre at best. The charcoal steak - supposedly a Chef’s recommendation - was dry and very much tasteless. Caramel beef burger was decent but definitely not worth the wait. I should add that this whole time, the restaurant was operating at AT MOST 50% capacity? I literally cannot imagine how long I’d have to wait if it was operating at full capacity. TLDR: Until something changes, I’d strongly recommend you not to come here. Management, I implore you to change things up before this place goes bust.

Upon stepping into the restaurant on a weekday night around 7pm, we found the place to be depressing. We were the only customers inside and there wasn't any music. The decors and lighting were dim. We ordered the Pork Rib and Ribeye Steak (Medium rare) The steak came close to well done and it is super tough. (*Inedible) The pork was marinated too salty and the only redeeming factor was that it was still pretty tender. The side dish was an apparent display of not putting enough effort. They served raw sliced lettuce with some kind of beans(a bit like those thick red beans) all lumped together Overall bad experience

Had dinner at Day and Nite Steak House at Holland Village. Very disappointing dinner. Ordered a medium and another medium well steak. Both were overdone, too dry and the meat very tough. They provide very cheap vegetables like cabbage and some green vege unlike their website photos which shows broccoli and corn. Their mashed potato was horrible too. The worst steak we ever had!
