This coffeeshop has lots of great foods, likes Toa Payoh Porridge, Zhong-zhong fried five-spice fritter, Fried Oyster, Teochew Noodle, Satay Bee-hoon and.... Mr. Duck rice and noodles.
Their duck rice was very popular and famous with their tender duck meat and sauces. Even their Kway Chap was not a bad flavor too due to the same base gravy and sauces.
But today, I want to try their duck noodles instead. I order their duck kway-tiao, unfortunately take away was probably not the right decision, especially the kway-tiao was absorbed all the gravy and sauces, end up taste was compromised.
And short of good chilli to complement, unfortunately the duck meat was good, just too little for a regular portion.
Will not order their duck noodles again, is a mistake. Not sure the duck porridge quality. So advise all just order their duck rice, that taste is guaranteed. 😅

Teochew braised duck in herbal sauce is hard to find and Mr. Duck seems to be the only source (aside from the hawker stalls at Newton CircusFood Center). They are now available on food delivery service from Deliveroo. You can enjoy the treat in the comfort of home. Have not tried the rice as kway chap is on the menu!
Basic kway chap set comes with pork belly, intestines, fish cake, tau pok and half a braised hard boiled egg smothered in a thick herbal sauce. Chili sauce is not really spicy but have a slight twang to lighten the dish.
Ordered single portion of duck. It was a big portion! Same thick herbal sauce.
Best time to order is around 4pm as the stall is usually busy through the day and doesn’t take orders for delivery. This stall at Ghim Moh Link close at 5:30pm.

Duck meat was tender, without much gamey taste. Soup had a pleasant herbal taste, slightly on the sweeter side, might be too sweet for some liking though. Overall a very good bowl of duck kway teow dry.

Smells better than it tastes. Walked past and the stall smelt of amazing herbal broth. Order the duck soup noodles and it was lackluster. 3 stars because the price is okish. $3.80

The braised dish is quite yummy. Had the big intestine head, pork belly, Tau pok and fish cake. $8.60 generous portions.
The kway is just average though.

food was delicious with superbly tender intestines and pig tongue however the waiting time is omg an hour plus. overall the food is worth the wait

sorz for the half eaten. It's soo good I love the vege, tender Duck (not as tender as amk's but def one of the best), and the chili (make sure to eat/mix tgt well 💯). I think rice would b better if softer and add yam(?) And the large peanuts in the (Duck) set so generous lol
