Claypot dishes and you can also order stir fried dishes as well. We had fried fish with soya sauce, fish maw soup, mix vegetable and frog claypot. The fish maw soup is nice and the fried fish is crispy and tasty. The claypot frog dish is a bit let down as it lacks flavor, the worst is the mixed vegetable dish that feels like eating raw lotus and green pea. Service is okay the ordering via the app can be a bit confusing.

The Fish Porridge with scallops and fish roe. Menu item No. 103. Worth Only one third the price. Cost $15.95. 10-15mins waiting time for take away. Taste: Porridge and fish tasted very separate, porridge had no taste at all, except for the fish roe atop that made it very salty. Means it was not cooked using any flavourful broth. Fish had very very mild smell of ginger and pepper, otherwise tasted very bland. Quantity: I counted less than 6 slices of fish, the scallops were small and very few, and sparsely scattered in the porridge. Even the spring onion slices were too few to be seen, like only 1-2 pieces, Did not even know until i saw one piece of green colour in the porridge Plain porridge was alot. Recommend: Put a spoonful of spring onions, some slices of ginger, and gravy/sesame oil would have added alot more flavour, even if fish slices were few and porridge was not cooked with broth. Mun Zuk at Novena has much tastier porridge at less than half the price. Also has a piece of crispy cracker to go. My neighbourhood coffee shop also has nicer fish porridge at $4.50, with Youtiao to go too. ** I would finish the porridge even if it was plain as i dont waste food, but the saltiness of the fish roe made it impossible, and unhealthy too. Ended up fishing for the ingredients and threw away the fish roe and 1/3 of porridge. I also usually dont write reviews (only written 1-2 before), and swallow the food even if it was not as good. But..this is too expensive, with no sincerity in the food making. Counter service was rather good, and staff were polite and friendly.

Ordered the National Day promo (1 for 1 porridge, mushroom with braised tofu and 2 drinks) via Grab. Food-wise only the braised tofu is nice, the porridge is too watery and bland. Quite disappointing as compared to the subsidiary Hey-yummy by A-one group. The drinks are even worse, it is just cordial orange and tasted like plain water without a tinge of sweetness, I took a sip and pour them down away. This will be my last time ordering from A-one claypot and will just go Hey-yummy in future.

Taste not too bad. Price I think is a bit high. The salted lotus and pumpkin dish 👍21 July 2021, visted this shop again. This round the salted lotus and pumpkin dish smell of recycled oil . The porridge meat getting lesser . Hopefully they don't cut cost in this way. I will be praying for them to survive 🙏😔

XO dried scallop fried rice is really delicious, my family liked it alot. Same as the century/salted egg minced pork porridge and marmite fried chicken 👌👍. Vegetable dishes was standard tasting. Quite attentive staff, prompt to serve even though it was Sunday lunch. But waiting time for food was still long even at 1.30pm. Overall with the set meal and Ala carte porridge, each person about $12/pax.
