Ajisen

Haven’t had Ajisen for many years. Rather disappointed by the ramen today, and perhaps a reminder why I stopped having Ajisen 😪 Beansprout were so overcooked they were on the verge of mushy. Broth was on the diluted end with a lot of oil floating over the soup. Ramen egg was well done though. Saving grace was the excellent service rendered by the female staff on duty. The male staff was prompt and polite too. The service brought the rating up from 1* to 3*.... likely won’t have Ajisen again in the near future. Business is brisk though on a Wednesday night.

Yes! We emptied our ramen bowls and side dishes as well! Kudos to the Team for the swift and great customer service! Special shoutout to Ms. Ah Em for serving with her sweet smile all the time, ensuring that our drinks are refilled and came checking with us if we got what we need. Kudos for her positive attitude and inspiring us to continue to stay active in work and passion even at her age. Thanks to Sam and team! What an enjoyable dinner, sure to come again.

Ajisen has decent food. I usually get full just with their ramen and the complementary side that comes with it but i do have a smaller appetite so it may differ for others. If you like to eat at a relaxed pace, i would suggest going at a time that is less crowded. Like most eateries here, the line gathers fast and some aren’t considerate so they sit in the restaurant chatting and/or using their phone so the people in line has to wait for a quite some time.
