Morrie’s Steakhouse

My friend and I were traveling and wanted to get a nice dinner. It was our first time to SD, I would highly recommend this place. Our server Ben was fantastic and made an excellent wine recommendation that was not the top $ tier of options. All of the staff were very nice. I have a gluten allergy and he was very knowledgeable with that type of allergy. I did not get I’ll, my only negative is they didn’t have a gluten free dessert option, however we were so full from dinner we didn’t mind! Great place for a date night or just wanting a great meal in great environment.

Delicious!! I have craved the bacon and grits since I left. Everything on this menu seems to be great. We had a large group that they were easily able to seat and provided a large variety of foods for us to choose from and even share. The ambiance is warm and inviting. This is the place to go for a date night or a business meeting. Love it here!

The waygu beef and black rice risotto with was asparagus was simply amazing with jumbo oscar shrimp to top the steak was to die for !! The lobster potatoes s dish was the best potatoes I've ever eaten in my life the sea bass my uncle had was phenomenalas well , good atmosphere, great music very fun place ,definitely going back again

My family and I are not high or low rent. We save nice steakhouses for special occasions. This was in our opinion overpriced. Really nothing special but expensive. The staff was over nice and friendly when we were leaving. We could tell our server was irritated with us. Did it once and won’t be back. However, still left a 20% tip on a $300 bill. So we didn’t stiff her.

Stopped in here on a Thursday night. Place was busy but we were seated right away. Very friendly hostess, wish I would have gotten her name. We were sat back by the kitchen in a booth. I am a bigger guy and the booth was a little small so next time will ask for a table. The service was great. Aaron was quick to greet us, kept our drinks full and really knew the menu. I ordered the Delmonico ribeye medium rare and it was perfect! My wife ordered the Morries cut and hers was cooked to a perfect medium rare as well. It does come with blistered tomatoes on it which she wasn't a fan of. For a side I had the mashed potatoes and my wife had asparagus. Overall great experience, will definitely be back. For the two of us for dinner and app and a couple drinks it was very reasonably priced.
