Marlin's Family Restaurant

My service was good. My veggies were cool, but that was ok. I ordered the smothered chicken, it had really good flavor but it seemed small and for the price I think maybe it should be either another piece or a larger piece. Of course they could also reduce the price as another option. I also ordered apple pie Ala mode, it came with the ice cream in a separate cup. But that didn't bug me either just was surprised by it. The pie was very good.

A lot of good food for a good price. Glad I stopped here. Very nice and attentive staff as well. They don’t ruin the eating experience by repeatedly checking in on you, but they do check in enough to make sure there is nothing else you need. I will definitely drop by next time I’m driving through this area

Really good experience here. Have a big variety on menu so had hard time deciding between a few things. Server was very friendly and attentive and food came out fast. Definitely have their regulars that they socialize with but checked on us plenty of times. Wanted desert at their pies looked good but was too full.

We waited 10 minutes to be seated, although there were at least 3 booths available. The waitress took our drink order and delivered them, then promptly disappeared. We tried to flag someone down and were ignored. It took another 15 before a different waitress to come to our table, apologizing that there was some confusion as to whose table it was. When we finally got our food, it was mediocre. A waitress serving a table near us approached then and apologized that one of their meals was ready, but the other was overlooked, so they would be comped a meal. We got nothing. Was it because we were out-of-towners? Probably, as most of the other customers seemed familiar with the staff. We're very disappointed and upset about the entire situation.

Some young gal was in over her head. We waited a bit to be seated then got our drink order and this gal had no clue what a Lord & 7 alcoholic drink was! We waited 15 minutes before walking out after we asked what was taking so long. The reply from the waitress was " I got a lot going on here! Oh you're leaving!?" Bad service;

This was the worst meal I have had in a very long time. My family went for the first time and the waitress did not smile, she did not check on us or refill drinks and they were not busy. They were out of several options and the waitress did not know the menu. All of our food was cooked horribly. 3 of us did not finish our food! Absolutely a waste of money. We left hungry and thirsty. I told the waitress we did not like our food or service and she ignored me while taking my $. Sorry-I do not believe the ratings here.
