New Bettola

This is truly a hidden gem. We were starving when we got to the restaurant. We ordered 2 dishes from the chef's special menu. OMG, they are DELICIOUS! We had linguine with half lobster and King prawns (2 only but very fresh) in tomato sauce and a pizza with Italian sausage and some veggies as toppings (sorry can't remember all ingredients as we only wanted to order asap). The lobster and prawns were sooooo fresh, and the seasoning was on point. The pizza dough is amazing! crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, just the right thickness too! Tiramisu is quite generous portion. We left the restaurant with full and happy tummies! we sat by the window and saw some planes occasionally. Didn't hear any noise, only romantic classic playing in the background and laughters from other happy patrons. We are already planning another visit when we have to drive our friend to Heathrow!

Visited last night by chance as we were staying overnight nearby. The service was fantastic start to finish. Food and drink was all well priced. My partner and I agreed it was probably the best meal we have both had. True Italian food, fresh and tasty ingredients. We both had pasta for main course and it was absolutely unreal. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely make a point of coming back!

Food is great, although the value is a little questionable. Two small cracker shaped pieces of toast with bruschetta for £7.something is a bit much even for London Pizza was great. Atmosphere.. well. Nothing crazy. It’s a conservatory and you can see into the neighbouring houses. The interior is nice. Screaming child. Police passing through on a job and disappearing into the garden was.. amusing. Good Italian, would go back. For families I think.
