Akaya is a a must go place if you are looking for Asian food. Indian cuisine is their forte and I have tried their chicken biryani which has a 3 levels of spiciness options, which is good. Medium is quite fair and tolerable, you can feel the heat while still able to differentiate the taste of biryani. The rice is well cooked and not overcooked and the serving size seems small but it really is too much. The mocktails are all enticing and the mango mocktail, i may say is my favourite. Events can also happen in here, like birthday celebration. i just do suggest not to place the other guests near the table of celebrants as this makes us feel awkward and sometimes, all we wanted is silence while having dinner, and not being worried if we will be able to be included in the video recording of the person on the next table. Overall, food is good and crew is very hospitable. Just please do strategise the table arrangement of your restaurant.

Food was excellent! Tender nice and really tasty. Service was slow but perhaps this was because it was sat afternoon. I have seen busier places but better service but overall not bad. If you go at busy times you need to wait but if you can’t then book a table ahead. Atmosphere is good with the decor but the placing of the toilet (I front of two tables that face towards the toilet) and the music are not appropriate. Live music is performed on times which brings a different experience but it is too loud. Even when background music is on, it is still a decibel or two higher than needed! So worth going again for food. But would advise book a table if you are a group and can o afford to hang around

I give this place a 10 out of 10 The food was super amazing, the ambiance, the staffs, the little waterfall , the love music,belly dancers, every thing was so nice Its a nice place to go with family,friends, coworkers and all Also the Dj was so nice and i love that theres a mixture of all culture music being was Also the staff Mehmet should he given an award for best staff, he was super welcoming and a nice person! My friends and I are definitely going there again!

The food came out fairly quick as we travelled with a group of 20+ we ordered family platters and their dynamite King prawns along with fish pakora's. And sides to along with it. The mohitos were a little disappointing as they lacked a punch from the fruit. But the family platters were very flavoursome. Good service by the waiters and waitresses and were quick to help when asked for service. The live music played tonight was a little louder then hoped. But the place is really nicely decorated and set the mood for a good meal overall 8.5/10. The food was really well presented and we all left with our bellies full.

I visit this place and had the same reaction with both visits. It was great food, good service but the atmosphere was questionable. I went for the rice, lamb chops, dynamite prawns and all was excellent. The service was good and on time. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The tables/toilets were a little dirty. The atmosphere is mostly catered for south Asian people as they play live music however it was great as it was a different atmosphere to what I’m used to. The decor is very nice overall great comfort food. They only accepted cash before but now accept card! Overall definitely worth the visit! 9/10!
