Doc's Food & Spirits

The food was delicious! The service was excellent but it was the atmosphere for me. This is the closest bar to cheers that I have ever been in. I'm a bartender so it's not to easy to impress me but the way everybody got along was amazing. The whole bar was singing. I will definitely visit whenever I'm in town!

Great place for bar food and alcoholic beverages. I orded the fried shrimp house salad is served first. The shrimp is served with a choice of vegetables and a roll. A serving of cocktail and tartar sauce arrived with it; I chose the sauteed spinach which had onions and tomatoes in it. My Friend ordered a burger and potato wedges. The burger was topped with lettuce and tomatoes. It was a perfect medium rare as ordered.We enjoyed all that was served enthusiastically. Doc's is a classic neighborhood bar and although the decorum is stuck in a time warp. It was well maintained and you can still smoke inside! I've dined here before and have never been disappointed!

It was okay minus the mini swat team waiting for you to pull out of the parking lot. Little creepy. The vibe was calm n classy. Staff was more than efficient due to covid 19. They did well. On another note some shady ppl looking like they didn't come for the drink or the vibe. The bar looked busy but modestly social. Tight walkways to tables. No real covid protocol in place. So by the time I got home 2 days later I had a sinus infection non covid lol... loop lol

It's a great, diverse bar. Karaoke is a bit too rule heavy, but not bad. It was packed when I went and if you are heavily Covid conscience, then you may want to stay away for a little bit. They do take Temps and enforce masks, but it gets easily crowded. It can be a bit loud and too smoky from all the cigarettes for my taste, but it's an atmosphere that is appropriate for smokers.
