Wonderful food! Perfectly cooked and well paired with white and red varietals. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Very romantic atmosphere and perfect for a nice Valentine's evening.

we are the last table of the night. they serve us well. nice wine, nice dishes. especially the salad with orange juice which made Lisa so surprised and happy. The Chef came and chat with us when her wife went to take care of their baby. we enjoyed the meal and the night. we are sure be back when we visit Solvang again.

Had a great meal here. Owner/chef, Richard, was very attentive and helped with suggestions as waa our waitress. Wife had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. All courses as well as the wines were excellent. I had the fish which was also excellent. Don't go here expecting cheap food with large portions. My plate was somewhat small but was the perfect size for me. I'd rather have quality over quantity. Finished off with a , I think, 36 year a old port that wad excellent. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner. The salmon and scallops were perfectly cooked and were delicious. the Brownie desert was divine. Service was extremely attentive, speedy and courteous. The decor is old fashioned like you might remember from your parents' (grandparents') formal dining room. The wine list is appropriate for the food selections. I would definitely return.

We were lucky enough to hear about Aly's from a young couple we were sitting next to on Christmas and what a wonderful find.
The ambience of the dining room is so cozy and warm.
The service is wonderful. They make you feel like part of the family.
The food was superb. We had the scallops and salmon and the dishes were done with perfection. I had the apple pie for dessert and only wish I could make a crust that buttery and flaky. It melts in your mouth.
Definitely will be back. Great job Aly and team.

Very cozy romantic place with minimum amount of tables. Food was perfectly cooked and paced nicely throughout the dinner. Dinner is not rushed. Service was very attentive and friendly. One very elderly lady was dining alone and they brought out a pillow for her back since the chairs are straight backed. Even the acknowledgement of a special occasion was very low key and much like you would find in a European restaurant. Reservations are definitely recommended.

A super-cute quaint restaurant with classy decor and even classier food. I had the filet mignon and my date the halibut. The steak was cooked to perfection and each course had a full and well-designed flavor profile. The setting is intimate and you will likely receive a visit from the owners. The restaurateurs, Aly and Richard, are also vintners, so you can perfectly pair your wine with your meal. Don't worry about the extra dollar signs; if you are in Solvang, your finest meal will be at Aly's.
