Lovely country pub, food was piping hot and large portions. A great place to stop after a long hike.

I came today had fish n chips, it was full of bones, the chips were delicious
I’m so disappointed as the food here is always excellent
It has put me off having battered fish again, my husbands lasagna was beautiful but so many bones in the fish put me off.
I found at least 15 bones, please can you re check the fish for bones before cooking.
We was in a hurry or I would of said about the bones, apart from the bones the food was lovely

Visited 15th October,2nd visit to this pub, last minute booking for lunch, absolutely beautiful food, the portions sizes are great, well worth the money, well sized roast dinner just over £12, Michael and his team were very welcoming well worth the visit, we will definitely be going back

Had a meal here yeaterday with friends. Very impressed with the friendly service and even more impressed with the Vegan Burger!! very tasty, well presented and nice sized portion.
Very comfortable place to come, clean and a relaxed atmosphere, what I appreciated was we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive, which was nice and hot!
Dedinitely be back!

We visited for a Sunday lunch. Bit stingy on the gravy. It was average in regards of Sunday lunches. We all agreed it was ok. Service was very good and desserts were nice.

Great local pub, really enjoyed the atmosphere without loud music & gaming machines; good food & friendly locals. Loved that people brought their dogs.
