The Sunflower Bistro

Had the breakfast. I am well known as a very fussy eater. The breakfast was served on a pre heated plate. You know when you are heading for a bad one when the dreaded catering sausage makes a very unwelcome appearance. Pleased too say this was proper old banger. It was all fantastic. Bacon mushrooms excellent, and the scrambled egg was sent from heaven. The staff and the owner were all lovely. This is the best breakfast in Southend and good luck to all the staff at the amazing Sunflower. All the best from Adam Swan and Mojos Seafood.

Went here for my Mum's birthday lovely place serves great tea and coffee. The cakes and sandwiches were very well made and the lady who served us was polite and friendly. The prices are reasonable as well. Nice and quiet if you want a relaxing afternoon tea or coffee 5/5 place would highly recommend:)

It's a quiet and relaxing restaurant, more towards the elderly consumers but still open to everyone. The menu is simple but nice to have a bite to eat locally. The atmosphere is warm and the decor is joyful. The food is subtle. But I love the Biscoff cake which can be served with ice cream, cream or custard, of course hot or cold. The young lady that served me and my partner was very pleasant and sweet. A good place to go if you want a relaxed meal.
