Alfie's Authentic English Fish & Chips

Yesterday my family visited this restaurant and we really enjoyed the food. We ate the food with pleasure and we was very delighted by the delicious food. The atmosphere and the service was perfect, professional staff. We will always visit this place and eat here when we come to Southend. Many thanks Silviya😊🤗

We went here for lunch yesterday and loved the food. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The food was perfect, it was fresh and made very quickly. The chef which is also the boss of the restaurant is very professional and kind hearted😊 definitely we would recommend this place to friends and many people as the place is clean, tidy and there’s delicious food. We have visited this place to eat so many times, every year actually, in this same place. This shop is the best👍

After a fun evening at Adventure Island, our large group ended up in Alfie's. The staff were very accommodating and the waitress was particularly patient as she took our orders. My son is allergic to fish and they very kindly cooked his meal in separate oil, which I really appreciated. The children (and us adults too!) were even offered lollipops as we left! Funnily enough, as I looked around, I realised I had eaten there with my son 7 years previously, when he was two! The food hit the spot and there were no complaints. When one of the party accidentally sprinkled sugar instead of chips over her plate, they even gave her extra chips, after overhearing the commotion! The customer service is so impressive. In this day and age, it really stands out, hence why I've taken the time to write this review. Thank you for making us feel so welcome 😊
