Only popped by to get a small chips to eat in the car, but they were insanely good. Chunky chips that tasted triple cooked like you would get from a fancy restaurant; not greasy or soggy and freshly made.

Nice and simple. Classic fish and chips at its best. Good quality fish in a top class crunchy batter all at just right proportion. Place rather filled with tourists but you can definitely tell it has its spirit. If you’re looking for a good classic fish and chips this is definitely a go to place.

best fish and chips you will ever have! had small cod and chips with a tea, the fish was cooked perfectly and the batter was light and crispy. the tea was a proper english tea, perfect with the fish. would highly recommend coming here if you ever come to southend. customer service was lovely, the man was polite and easy-going.

Great café! We were only in Southend for a short time as we came on the Waverley and had to allow time for the train up the pier and back. We took the last available table and the food was served promptly, service with a smile and it was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Very nice everything, and the fish was petfect
Family of 3 got 3 meals with 3 drinks and 2 deserts for £ 60 (including a bit of tips)
Forget about fancy restaurant, give this a try, it will worth it; fish & chips was epic

Dropped in for fish and chips today following recommendations off Google.
The place was very clean, the staff were very attentive(Thank you) and me and the good lady had large Cod and chips with curry sauce which was very nice and freshly cooked to order.
I can confirm without any doubt that this place is well worth a visit for your seaside fish and chips 👌🏻

Hi.
Took my grandchildren and family yesterday and as we are Muslims, it was great to find a Halal Fish & chip place.
The fish was really fresh and the chips were chunky and not oily.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Would highly recommend this chippy.

Located pretty much under Southend Peir this fantastic Cafe has everything you could want the best food, best service and a very welcoming atmosphere.
The Grilled Butterfly Chicken was seasoned very well and a different alternative to just sea side fish & chips.
Served on a bed of fresh Mediterranean style salad and a generous helping of chips. That created an explosion of taste
The staff are always welcoming arrive as customers and leave as friends definitely my first choice along the arches.
