Food was lovely, order was taken quickly and it was served promptly. Staff member was friendly and it is well located on the sea front. Only negative are the toilets, they are up a lot of stairs and the upstairs area looks unused and derelict. Would definitely go back but they could utilise the upstairs space better.

Excellent service, our server was friendly and delivered excellent service, the food was so tasty. Hit the spot, fish was fresh, home made chips. Portion size is good and a good price compared to others places in the area. Highly recommended.

Took the Mrs for awalk along the sea fron
t and popped in to the The Rose was greeted by a great waitress named Jen was offered a table and left alone long enough to settle. When Jen took the order it was with a smile even though she'd been rushed of her feet all day. Food was great services was better will return .

Friendly and helpful staff. The food was delivered quickly and tasted delicious. The chips were perfect and the price very reasonable. An older establishment with no blearing music or flashing lights or machines. Like going back in time. The restaurant was on the front opposite the pier area. Will definitely return to try the steak.

We stopped here for a double breakfast and drink. Food was tasty,freshly cooked and hot. Service was friendly and prices were excellent. Seating inside and out, it was a lovely day so we sat outside and watched people go by on the seafront. A little gem - well worth a visit
