This is a nice little cafe and the ladies that work there are amazing and always provide a warm welcome. The negative reviews are from entitled types who rock up 4 strong and then demand a table when they’re only ordering one meal and throw a strop when it’s not given by management. It’s a nice little place.

Nice new clean look and feel with a nice view of the sea front. It was a little empty inside but there were plenty of people waiting for takeaway and sitting outside. The food was definitely restaurant quality which is good though honestly we’d have been happy with the standard chip shop style chips and good size portion of fish at a more modest price. Can understand restaurant prices have probably gone up in the area but it did feel a little pricey to me for my family of 4. The fish was lovely but quite small portion, but the chips did make up for it. Wouldn’t mind going back but I’d want to see more fish and seafood options and a bigger piece of fish.

Popped to Sounthend on Sea after a visit nearby and we always get our fish and chips fom the front take away counter, this time as the weather wasn't ideal we decided to sit in and glad we did. The food was delicious and it felt a bit more "posh" served on a plate with a knife and fork with side salad and peas. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Will be eating in again next time we visit.

This little place is my "go to" eatery along the seafront. The food is always perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The cakes are home baked and are delicious!(Carrot cake) The staff are friendly and professional, the service is prompt and polite. The location is perfect, with large windows giving a fantastic view of the beach, pier and estuary across to Kent. I'd give more stars if there was an option!

staff were very lovely, food came quick and was clean. just a heads up they don’t give extra cutlery and plates. me and my friend wanted to share a plate of fish and chips (which we’re glad we did as the portion size was quite large) but we’re not given extra cutlery. there’s also no alcohol served and only one toilet
