A classically styled seaside fish and chip shop on the seafront. Albeit a little dated in its decor, they seem to have done the toilets up which is nice. I suggest they continue renovations as funds allow as the staff are very friendly and helpful and the classic unpretentious styling is a breath of fresh air.

We had the most amazing fish and chips here. Massive portions. We honestly thought they served us shark for a second. Great taste and reasonable prices.

Brilliant takeaway fish and chips. Freshly cooked, not too pricey and truly delicious, with everything fresh plus clean cookkng oil. Highly recommended.

Food was lovely as always. Cooked fresh to order. Can't wait to be able to sit down and eat in.
I sat on the seawall to enjoy my takeaway. Large Cod and chips.
No upsell, which is a shame. Its worth asking customers if they'd like drinks or sides to help bring in revenue!
I do like a side order of chilli sauce and garlic mayonnaise to dip. Being offered a fork at least worth the 2p to buy, but fingerlicking good though....

Very nice fish and chips, perfect for grabbing while on your walk along the sea front. If you are wanting to sit in house, the seating area is a little tight and it can be cold inside, but the food is very good nonetheless,

Great fish!! chips could have had 1 more minute a bit light for me... Curry sauce was lovely (a bit runny though) and sausage in batter was perfect and all of this on a Sunday thanks for the great meal guys!!

I arrived in Southend for a short break on the 17th September 19 @ 10 pm the shop was nearly closing
We were all hungry I had already been to Bailey's last year the food was good and fresh. I don't the name of person who served me but no questions asked he cooked us the best fish and chips for all my family. Many thanks will be back next year.

Our Scouts did a chip shop survey along Southend seafront. A large portion of chips here cost £3. The Scouts enjoyed them thought they were good value, they were not too greasy, and reasonably crisp but a bit on the pale side. In all value for money.
