Cluny Fish Bar

We ate from here this evening for the first time since the new owners took over and the whole family agreed that it was the best food we’ve had from a chippy in YEARS! The chicken was succulent and flavourful, the chicken burgers were delicious and the chips were incredible. So pleased to have a chippy we can go to where we know the food is amazing and it was also SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than every other chippy between here and Rochford. Will definitely be going back regularly.

Herd great things about the new owners and how the food had improved well i certainly cannot compliment enough. my Parents loved the cod specials and me and my wife loved our burgers. The chips use to be under cooked and soggy but now hot and crispy. i was also pleased on price. i use alot of chippys local and i think this is by far the cheapest on most items. This will now be my number 1 and thank you Cluny

Visiting my parents in the area from California and despite already having eaten, I had a hankering for some fish and chips. It is very hard to get a decent fish and chips in California (usually little more than fish fingers and french fries at a high cost). Though I was there 15 minutes before closing, the chap (sorry, I forgot your name - you might remember me wavering between kebab and cod) was very welcoming and cooked me up a very nice and fresh batch of fish and chips. It was everything I remembered fish and chips should be, and more. Great stuff! I will be back for more.
