Pie Hole

I would have ordered everything on the menu but there were just 5 of us. Best Mac ‘n’ Cheese, fantastic pizza crust and choice of toppings and great to find a restaurant in England that has corn dogs on the menu, so good. The staff were friendly and accommodating and it was nice to have the option to eat in. I wouldn’t change a thing, well maybe location, I would love a Pie Hole Pizza in Cambridge. A wonderful find during our short stay in Southend.

Customer service really is next level. Very friendly place to be. However - as someone who isn't vegan the pizza is a decent pizza compared to regular pizza and nothing to write home about However - the cheese you would struggle to tell is vegan. I can imagine as a vegan this has to be one of the best options out there. However - it is massively expensive coming in at £20 for a medium and a side. I understand supporting small business and I love to do it but at the price point it isn't sustainable - However you do get a great portion for the price. I opted for the mac and cheese and margarita style pizza. The mac and cheese wasn't as rich as I would have expected it to me. The base was however very pleasant. The owner - don't know his name is a top guy.

Best pizza in Southend. Love all the topping options but in the photos are my faves the mac and cheese and the frite-za. The dough balls are heaven! (Def recommend trying the marmite ones too) And the knish was delish 😋 100% vegan but you don't miss the meat. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is chill and cosy. Highly recommend giving piehole a try whether you're vegan or not!

The very best thin crust pizza I have ever tasted and I would never have know it was vegan! Absolutely delicious pizzas, very light, lovely flour dusted crust, not heavy pizzas and very tasty toppings with clever sauces. Great attention to detail, George is a talented and conscientious chef who will make your visit relaxing and fulfilling. Highly recommended, visit as soon as you can, you will not be disappointed.

Best vegan pizza out there, absolutely delicious!! Dough balls to die for 😋 never had better balls of dough filling my mouth. Dessert was amazing and took extra of everything home. Service was excellent, can't fault the staff at all. Treated us like family. All in all 5 star experience and would highly recommend to everyone. Vegan or not this pizza will blow your mind! 😍🤤🤯🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
