The Habit Burger Grill

By far one of the best fast food joints I have been to in a long time. Had exceptional service from a lady Selena at the front whom took the time while my 4yr old was trying to explain what he wanted. We were here around noon and even though they were busy, inside and out they got us our amazing food within 10 minutes of ordering. We will definitely be back!

Just as you’d expect. They did a pretty good job with TAT as it was lunch after all. My only gripe is that they have a large dispenser for ketchup but not mustard so I had to use quite a few of those little packets for my fries. Even still, I’d definitely come back.

If you've never had a Habit burger, then you are seriously missing out my friend! I can't tell you how many times my husband and I have turned our friends and associates on to "The Habit". This hamburger joint originated in Santa Barbara, California in 1969. If you are from California and have not had one of these burgers. Then either you don't get out much, or you're a vegetarian. This burger is definitely at the top ranking of fast food burgers- equal to In 'n' Out. But The Habit does theirs a bit different. Which gives it that distinct, cut above the rest taste. They also make a great sweet potato fry! Everything is fresh, and cooked to order. There are two locations here in Reno - one in Circus Circus, and the other in Sparks. Haven't been to the one downtown in a while, but the one in Sparks has great customer service. And even when they're really busy, you're not going to wait too long for your food. The manager does a great job! If you haven't tried The Habit, I suggest you do. Because it will definitely become one!

I love the habit burgers but this location is awful. I waited for about ten minutes for my order. I saw my onion rings setting on the counter for a good three or four minutes before I got my order. I checked the onion rings and they wasn't hot. I asked for a refund manager lady no name tag told me we'll make you more onion rings so the burger won't be hot. She told me to Google it they don't have a corporate number. I only wanted a good burger and onion rings that were hot.

On our visit we ordered a kids meal with a chocolate milk for my 3yr old daughter. After taking a few sips of her drink she tells me and my husband that it's sour. Sometimes kids don't always know how to explain things and I thought she was playing. So I tasted it and it was so sour and disgusting. My daughter was complaining of her stomach hurting and instantly my stomach started to hurt as well. My husband went to talk to the manager about it, but she wasn't available to help and fix the situation because she was too busy. A regular employee gave us a new and different drink. But there was no apology, or concern about the situation. They didn't really care. I've had over 10yrs experience working in fast food and waitressing, and having manager experience, that was terrible service. I didn't expect to be compensated for anything, but an apology or a little concern; and the manager actually doing their best to make sure all their customers are taken care of and fix any issues is what I would expect because that's exactly what I did as a manager when we got complaints. We will not be returning to this store again.
