The Stupid Cow

This is a very well-rounded diner! Very unique name and really good parking for the area. I’d say that The Stupid Cow Cafe is your run of the mill diner, and a solid choice for a good breakfast in the area. Nothing here really stood out to me beyond its incredibly unique name. Some things I did really enjoy was the ease of parking, spaced out seating, and that their veggie omelette sported avocado! Staff was quick to seat me and take my order. All around no complaints, but also nothing to write home about. I would probably come back again if I was in the area! 🐄

First time here after seeing all the rave everywhere. Walked in and was told it would be a 45 minute wait, so we had our names added to the list. Oddly enough there seemed to be empty (clean and ready to go tables) but who knows. We waited the time frame given in our car and got the call to come in for our table. By then it was fairly empty inside. I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted, although I felt a little rushed in choosing I did enjoy what I got with the substitution I made. My friend really enjoyed her meal too. Beats our typical Red Robin meet up! Would definitely try again just at an earlier time or a different day. Not a Sunday. :)

The food here is fantastic. I got the country scramble and gotta say that this was one of the best meals I've had in a while. If I lived here I'd have to be careful to only eat here now and again, because if you came every day- and it is good enough to merit that, I'd say- you'd get overweight real quick. Nice country vibes, a framed picture of trump on the wall, outdoor seating for when the weather's nice. Would come here again.

Meh. The food was edible. Went out with my husband and 2 year old. Walked in and no staff was in sight. Went through looking for someone and didn't see anyone so we sat ourselves. Waitress came 2 mins later and gave us menus. My husband ordered a vegetarian omelet with the potatoes. We both must have missed the description where it said there's bacon pieces with the potatoes because it was a surprise! He's a mostly vegetarian who eats bacon (luckily) otherwise that would have been a big no lol. His omelet had no flavor and the potatoes were greasy and bland. Honestly I make better breakfast food at home 😬. I had the sweet cream pancakes and that was the best part. No options for syrup either, just maple. Ordered a hot cocoa and it was mostly water. Really disappointed because I've seen people rave about this place. Also, if it matters to you the staff did not have masks on and the waitress grabbed cups by the top rim 🤢 instead of middle or bottom.

We were really excited to get to try this Cafe for breakfast. We arrived early in the morning. There was hardly anybody there. It was nice and quiet. It took the waitress a little bit longer than we expected to come and take our order, but she was the only waitress there and she was friendly even though she seemed flustered. When our food arrived, first thing that was obvious, was that our potatoes were burnt. The not so obvious was the fact that the cheese omelette were cold on the inside. Once we were ready to leave, we had to ask for the check, and was given the wrong one. Luckily we caught it (just as the waitress did). We were terribly disappointed

Great little restaurant! Good food and good people. Came here on a Saturday around 11:30 had a 15 minute wait, but it was worth it. This is not a fast food restaurant, they are short-staffed like everyone else in town. I see some people complaining on the reviews about wait times. It was worth the wait. We will definitely eat here again.

We have eaten here so many times before the pandemic hit. The food was always wonderful as was the staff. Today we ate here for the first time since the pandemic. We went here because our pizza place was not at the farmers market in Liberty Lake (I had a very saddened hubby he didn't get his pizza), so we decided to come back here since we were already in the area. There was not many people here so it was not a busy time. While our food was delicious the wait times from sitting down to getting our food was quite frustrating specially when you have two hungry and growing boys. We arrived and were seated quite quickly, however, it took 20 mins for our waitress to return to get just our drink order (please keep in mind this was not a busy time and there were two other waitresses on staff so our waitress was definitely not overwhelmed). Then another 10 mins to get our order. Now I cannot account if kitchen staff was short staffed or not and definitely believe that they did a wonderful job. I would love to give 5 stars but the waitresses were not very attentive with many customers as a general observation. I cannot see what goes on in the kitchen they may have been short staffed and everyone was filling in where they could to help out.
