El Charrito Spokane

Just went here and the prices are extremely high for how much they give. The food is actually pretty good and I like the simplicity of the restaurant, but it could be a lot better. Food was Luke warm and it looks a lot like a TV dinner. For the prices you pay there they should be putting a lot more effort into making it the best.

These are the enchiladas. 14 dollars for 4 with no rice and beans or toppings other than sauce and cheese. I was told that this how they come. Maybe others might like enchiladas with whatever kind of sauce and cheese this is, but not me. I like to be able to taste my sauce and cheese. I can taste the meat, which is fine, and the tortilla, which is dry. It's like they just dipped the tortilla in the sauce and then let it dry out, and then sprinkled some parmesan on top. I've never had enchiladas like this. When I expressed that this wasn't what I was expecting I wasn't offered any compensation. Won't be coming back.

El Charrito has delicious food! My husband and I have enjoyed the Burrito Supreme and Cheese Quesadilla and they are so tasty we haven't tried any other entrees yet. Their portions are very generous and we can get two meals out of these items. We've also added sides like rice and beans, chips and salsa and guacamole to complement our meal and have loved these sides. We appreciate the friendly cashiers, too, as we usually go through the drive-thru.
