Maggiano's Little Italy

The food is overall pretty decent except for the linguine with white clam sauce. The clams are tiny and a pain to get out of the shell but that's true of any Italian restaurant. I had an incredible Branzino dish with asparagus and mashed potatoes and the salads are always nice and crunchy. The minestrone is tasty and the bread is addictive. The lighting is a little dim in the evening. Maybe it's to set a mood 😉. Parking is gawd awful at the mall.

I found this place after having to split my tied from Olive Garden at Baileys Crossroads due to their lack of customer service. Did a search for pasta near me and found this place. Oh man and I’m so glad I did!! This place is phenomenal 🥹 every server we have had has been so kind and attentive. The food is great and comes out in a timely manner. The kids portions are very good in size. My oldest read the kids menu on our last visit and saw that their meal included a choice of two lemon cookies or ice cream. Of course they were threw the roof when they read they could get ice cream at no extra charge 😆 the seating is spacious and relaxing. They have a no stroller policy in the dinning room so you do have to park your stroller near the restrooms but this makes the dinning area so much nicer. The bread they serve is fresh and since it was our first time we didn’t know how to do the bread so they went ahead and poured the olive oil, pepper and salt. They refrained form using the Parmesan cheese in the oil in case of any lactose intolerance which was so thoughtful. Over all would highlyyyyy recommend.

We arrived about 15 mins late for our reservation. We were graciously greeted by two beautiful hostesses. They quickly located our reservation and seated us right away. We were seated at a booth in the bar area which was perfect because my boyfriend and I are pretty laid back diners. Not to mention we were late for our reservation. Our server greeted us right away. She introduced herself, gave us a spiel and made wonderful recommendations. For my drink, I had a margarita which was made perfectly. We ordered calamari and a meatball to start. Everything was served hot. The calamari was fresh and crispy. The meatball did not disappoint at all.. I really enjoyed The marinara sauce with both dishes. My boyfriend and I tend to eat slowly, which can be annoying to servers who are trying to turn and burn. But, our server moved at our pace and checked back with us periodically. For my entree I have the branzino w/ crab. I was under the assumption that the branzino was stuffed with crab meat when actually there was only a crab sauce. Kinda disappointing but was still delicious nonetheless. My boyfriend had the chicken Marsala. He loved it! For dessert we had the dessert sampler which we inhaled. Overall the food was fresh and flavorful!! And the service was on point!!! We will definitely be back! I believe my server’s name was Helen.

Maggiano's is that wonderful place where delicious food meets excellent service in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere! It's a great place for special occasions but my husband & I come here when we're burned out on life too and in need of a pampered dining experience that allows us to get away from the hectic NoVa traffic, schedules, etc. and just reset! Ask for Tihtena (Tina) and you can't go wrong! It is a little pricey but well worth it! The shrimp scampi and salmon with spinach were yummy and for $6 we took home a huge portion of spaghetti w/meatballs to enjoy for lunch tomorrow! The apple crostada was amazing too!

My boyfriend and I celebrated two years yesterday and went to Maggiano's for dinner. It was lovely. Everyone was so accommodating and asking us if we had anything special going on. Nick was our server and he was phenominal!! At the end of the night he brought us a candle and desert to celebrate. Would definitely recommend. The food and service is 10/10.
