Golden Corral

Service was great, selection was very good, food was all seasoned very well. Overall was pleased, was a little dis heartened by fact that all hot food tried was served to cool and all foods that should be cool or cold were barely cooler than room temp. Probably not close to safe temps. for any period of time.

Ate at the busiest time of the day lunch rush. Food was excellent, I over ate by a large margin. The choices were much better than normal. The display were nice spread out. The employee were like a well maintained machine. None of them were stressed out. The store was clean. One or two things going right. That is normal. But this was a display of good management. The only bad news was this was a franchise store meaning the menu isn't at every corporate Golden Corral. Try the corn bread it was so good i could have used it as a desert. It was made the same way my family makes it.

When Golden Corral came to Springfield…it was the talk of the town. It was very good for years. I’ve been a constant customer with my kids. I must say after they have opened back up a few months ago it’s terribly not the same. You have to be there at the latest 7:30 because they close @8 even on weekends. Once your in there you will see no fresh foods… you will find them with 2 steaks grilling that you can never get a decent piece of because they will literally give you gristle n fat idk if the foreign cooks even understand the meaning of the way it’s supposed to be cooked?? I seen them add new fresh food on top of old food which is not up to code. The deserts are hacked to pieces. I remember the deserts were so fresh n good because they was flying off the counter…..The bakery had bakers constantly doing deserts and bread. Now they can’t even slice a pie This is my first ever review. I don’t do this but after 3 times of going with the higher prices I can’t get Over how bad it’s been. The manager lady is there, she sees the things happening but I guess this is the new normal. What the heck happened??
