Jimmy Johns

Yesterday I ordered a Turkey tom with no tomato, I ordered at 6:00 pm. I am aware that Jimmy Johns closes at 8pm. I received a confirmation email saying that the store had gotten my order at 6:03pm. It was not until 6:55 that I was told my order was on its way. Almost an hour and a half later (7:25pm) did my order get delivered. Never got a call saying it would be that long, and with a slogan of 'freaky fast delivery' I found it pretty funny. I am well aware of the responsibilities of food workers, as I used to be a waitress, but after an hour and a half of waiting on my order and finally getting it, I did not even get an explanation or apology for the wait. If I would have received some explanation or even a simple apology, I wouldn't be AS upset. I go to Jimmy Johns in Decatur (where I'm from) and have never had an issue. Needless to say, unless you'd like to wait very long periods of time on simple orders (All I had was a sandwich and chips) I would not recommend. Very disappointed and frustrated

Placed a delivery order on 4/23 at 11:41am. The store received the order at 11:42am. By 12:43pm it still wasn’t out for delivery. I called the store to cancel my order and get my money refunded. The woman who answered the phone placed me on hold for 15 minutes!! By this time it was 1pm! I hung up and called back and a man answered. He was very nice and apologized, even though I never got a reason why my order never came. Unacceptable. If an order is going to take longer than 30-45 minutes the store needs to communicate this to the customer somehow.

This is a chain sandwich shop, so what you see is what you get. That said, this store is usually clean, the service is good and the bread is fresh. The bathrooms are clean. Overall it is a good Jimmy John's to go to. They are fast, of course! I almost always get the Vito, and the avocado spread is green and fresh every time.
