Visited May2023. The Blackberry Jack is a straightforward pub for the housing estate of Jersey Farm, catering for a wide range of customers from pool players, sports viewers, lager drinkers (not so much ale here), wine drinkers (a modest selection of wines) and "weekday meal" diners. The menu is mainly pub classics, with an emphasis on grills and chips. The food is properly cooked and always delicious. The pub has two areas: the main bar area and, on the side of the building, a large conservatory. The main bar area is the lively side; the conservatory is set aside as a quiet area, mainly set up for dining. The pub also has a few arcade games installed.

Went for the Coronation, well looked after , food excellent had the steak on a skillet which was fab would really recommend the fish and chips. Staff great 👍

Lovely clean and friendly pub with on-the-ball staff. Food was excellent as was the timely service. Would definitely recommend. Family friendly and a great pub to watch sport in! Chloe is top drawer front of house.

Really worth coming over her.we had a job around the area and kept on coming to this pub for steak. Today came back with my wife as considerd all worth it. First of all as we have enjoyed the taste, definitely because of the meat quality, but also for the prices.
When I'm coming back to St Albans I'll definitely consider this pub for the steak! Belive me!

For some reason, we ended up having lunch over here. It was a nice local pub. The food choice was good. Food needs somemore spices. Service was very good and staff very friendly.

The best service, good facilities {being disabled this is a must} the family were treated with the utmost respect amazing definitely recommend this place for food 11 happy people. Second time back as you can see we loved lunch and finished the lot staff are still amazing thank you.
