Nkora

A pretty chilled out coffee shop, where you could buy a extra goods, like a spicy peanut butter. We went in because it was raining, open at helpful hours, so you're able to find a seat and coffee after 6, unlike some chains. There was work on the building when I was there, which does obscure the name of business. Whilst I was there I had a beetroot, looks very fancy, being pink, but flavour wise, was not too out there and actually quite nice. The barista who served us, was also very friendly.

My husband and I love this place, we always make sure to pop into our favourite coffee shop when in St Albans, we also bought the beans for home. Seriously, fab tasting coffee, staff always friendly, can sit inside or on a little bench outside. And if feeling a little peckish, they also have a variety of cakes and pastries to accompany their delicious coffee. Highly recommended 👌

I love Nkora, easily has the most character out of the coffee shops in the town center surrounded by the chains. Really good matcha latte that isn't sickly sweet, great food with decent vegan options and I like a lot of the shop items too. My only feedback is that since 2020, they haven't brought back many of the tables and there is nowhere to charge your laptop. This is the only tidbit holding Nkora back from full glory in my opinion as it's one of my favourite places to work with my laptop but I sometimes have to go elsewhere for this reason.
