As a long time customer every time we go in there is fantastic service and wine. Always with unique wine on offer and great knowledge of their stock, take the time to sit and talk to get a great experience

Great wine, great steaks, great stories from Ferenc the host, and great prices. This is one of St Albans' true hidden gems. Highly recommend.

my new philosophy for 2018 is - Pay More, Buy Less ! If we don't, we will lose absolute gems like this. The owner is so knowledgable and passionate that you cannot leave without purchasing. I don't know much about wine but I know authenticity and Ferenc has this in spades. Have enjoyed every drop of wine that I have bought from this store.

Best wine shop in St Albans. The charismatic owner is extremely knowledgeable about wine, making anyone, whether you are a wine rookie or a connoisseur , want to learn more about his selection of wine. I highly advise anyone to pop in and pick up a bottle!

As others have said the owners passion is infectious and I left with a bottle of sweet Tokaji to take home and enjoy.
Will definitely be returning, it's the best little wine shop in St Albans if you want something of real quality at a sensible price and a real gem.

A very wide choice of wines, hand-picked by a passionate Hungarian owner who looked for hidden gems. He has everything from the French classics to more esoteric bottles. The shop is beautiful, there is an area downstairs to have a glass. The owner is knowledgeable, really friendly and fun!

Went to a wine tasting and had a great time! The owner is hugely knowledgeable, has great stories and we tried some fab wine. Had a look round the shop afterwards and was pleased to see some wine more in my price range as well as the super expensive 'present' type wine. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
