Rendezvous Sandwich Bar

Private event. Booked for a work party of 15. Food was incredible, service & atmosphere was all fabulous. we had ordered canapés and light bites, and the whole group was amazed how full we were after. We had a selection of savoury bites - my personal favourite was the pear, goats cheese and honey toast. I truly believed I didn’t like goats cheese before trying it but it was so tasty I think I’m fully converted. Don’t get me started on the garlic mushroom toast, I was honestly worried I’d end up eating all of them. We were then offered mini French toast as dessert canapés and they were just as delicious.The portions were so generous, the service was fantastic. Great selection of cocktails, wine and beer. Liam & Li looked after us all so well. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for making our party so enjoyable. The place is beautiful and I will be back & recommending to everyone! All in all, they know exactly what they’re doing and how to do it. This is easily the best brunch food in St Albans. The place is beautiful and Liam is a fantastic host. Had a great breakfast! The staff was kind and quick with the orders. The man in charge, who could be the owner or manager was friendly and courteous to all the patrons. Because I sat close to the kitchen, I was able to see that he was passionate about the service the front end and the kitchen staff were providing. Would definitely go back, though I'm nearing the end of my vacation. All the best. I hope you have continued success.

Absolutely fantastic brunch and lunch cafe in St Albans. Staff are brilliant, it's quite small but doesn't feel crowded and had a pram with me. I had the fresh toast and omg best French toast I've ever had and I've been to few top spots in the US. My mum being gluten free and most of the menu can be adapted. And the gluten free bread was yummy. Great coffee and tea options as well as a cheeky cocktail if you fancied. Great for breakast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Thank you 😊

Toast is an excellent brunch spot in St Albans, accommodating walk-ins. The coffee was particularly good, and the Americano was served with hot milk which was a nice touch. The food was great and well-priced - no frills, done well. Also loved the minimalist interior design and vibes (though it was busy). Definitely gets a recommend from me! It’s also near to a car park.
