Fratelli Pizzeria & Pasticceria

I have only been here once since I am not from the area but Fratelli Pizzeria was very good. I had a veal cutlet grinder and it was excellent. The bread it was on was very fresh and it was not too heavy unlike some other places. The veal was very good and the amount balences well with the bread. Their sauce was great, not too sweet or too sour and the sandwich had just enough to make the sandwich moist but not to cause the bread to get soggy. And last but not least was the cheese. I'm not normally a big cheese fan, but the fresh mozzarella was VERY good. I normally ask for light cheese on things, but this time I did not, and I'm glad I didn't. You could tell that it was not the usual slices or shredded mozzarella that most other restaurants normally use on a grinder. It had that fresh mozzarella taste which went well with everything and didn't overpower the bread or veal. The size of the grinder was also very good for the price and I was able to eat half and take the other half for later, without feeling like I am shorting myself out of a full meal. While it is kind of hard to review a pizzeria without trying their pizza, if it's like their grinders then I'm sure it's excellent.

STAY AWAY!!! Terrible customer service and below average food. I ordered a calzone and asked for extra sauce three times over the phone. When it was delivered... No sauce and 3/4 of the calzone was EMPTY AND SOGGY. When I called they said if I wanted extra sauce and a calzone that actually had some filling in it, the nasty a$$ on the phone told me I would have to pay again! Never again! Not to mention... The food arrived cold and it's about a 5 minute ride.

The pizza in this place is great. I have no idea what that guy is talking about. He must not know good pizza. Everyone is friendly and food is great. The new owners didn't change anything or anyone in the place. Same cooks just better pizza man Fratelli pizza got first place on best specialty pizza and second place on best Sicilian pie in Staten Island !!!!.If anyone wants great food trust me this is the place to eat from.. Not that the old owner was dirty because his food was great also because it WAS THE SAME COOKS ! But I don't remember seeing a A on his window.. GREAT FOOD KEEP UP THE GEEAT WORK FRATELLI..

Ordered their 4 heroes and soda using their coupon, got the heroes and was told I didn't get soda. When I called fratellis they the man told me oh I'm sorry I cant credit you you'll have to take that up grubhub and he then offered to give us a free soda with our next delivery..... thank you but no thanks you should have offered to send a soda that I paid for, instead of that "oh well maybe next time"... I wont be ordering from them again.

The food is usually good, the sad part about this place is there is NO no management to see how it is being ran. from the delivery Guy to the counter help, They DID not put down there CELL phones the entire time I was there, I was told it would be 15 minutes, well that turned into 20 plus mites so not worth the wait, and thats why your tip jar is empty, you have to give good service to get some reward back. Guess they do not need business.
