Confections Dessert Lounge

Overall a nice/different place to go on the island. Went on Saturday night when the DJ is there which was cool, but no one dances just people sitting around. They can have more desserts on the menu I was surprised at the small amount. The blackout cake was good, churros were average and an ice cream sundae was average. They have a lot of dessert cocktails and boozy shakes if you are into that. Regular iced coffee was decent as well. The bar area is very nice. Overall a nice interesting place, only suggestion would be more trendy/different desserts.

Great place. The drinks were perfect. But the service... You ever go to a place and can tell they don't really want you there and they just faking being nice but also rushing you out the door? But then, I don't know. This was the first time I ever hang out in Statten Island. But then, I am not really "from around there"... if ya know what I mean.😉

We drove over 30 minutes from NJ crossed the bridge just to find this place and it was the best decision we made on a work day/school night! The decor was nice, the music was just enough where it wasn't super loud, but you can dance in your seat (which I did....lol) and let's talk about the reason we came which was for the dessert. The photos don't lie these desserts look just like photo and taste amazing!!! I have a large family (6) and everyone was equally satisfied with the presentation and taste of their dessert. So glad I googled "a place to go for dessert" and found a awesome place with an awesome experience. The staff was great, the owner was great! It was worth the trip!!!

We absolutely loved it!!! Beautiful place- We were so impressed with how nice it was! Great drinks- We had the espress yo self martini, nutter butter and chocolate pretzel. Yummy desserts- the trio brownie sundae and cinnamon beignets were amazing. Our service was great. We will definitely be back there very soon!!!

Decent decor and service which accounts for the 2. As far as the actual dessert and wine, it really tastes extremely cheap and old. For a place that specializes in desserts, I expected it to be fresh and tasty but I was sorely mistaken. It tastes like the desserts are bought in bulk from some supermarket then redistributed at a higher rate, this is the way business operates, but when it’s what your business is built around, it should be quality. If you are ok with cheap decent tasting wine and “American out-of-the-fridge/cupboard” desserts charged at a higher price then go here but don’t expect quality. Any local bakery has this place beat for sure.

I went here for dessert and drinks with a large group for my wife's 30th birthday. I called a day in advance and the owner was able to accommodate a group of 10 in a very comfortable setting.We were blown away! Awesome desserts, unique cocktails, and top notch service. Whether you are looking for a quick bite to eat or just want to have a few drinks in a lively and upbeat atmosphere, this is the place!

Went to Drag Bingo Night, it was lots of fun, the performers were excellent, and the service was great, everyone was so personable! The dinner buffet was pretty good too, the only reason why I didn't put all 5 stars is because my friends and I (and my sweet tooth) were looking forward to dessert since after all, it's a dessert lounge and there was none to be had. For $65 each, I was expecting at least a little something for dessert at a place called Confections Dessert Lounge, lol. Otherwise it was a fun night out!
