Living on the north shore I ordered from here often for a quick dinner. I always ask for my avocado whole since covid so I can wash it and cut it up myself. Ordered #1 meal today with an avocado. The food came the Maduros are swimming in oil. I was not even going to complain, but when I cut open my avocado it's got mold and alot of it. I worked at chipotle for 2 years and we ordered pounds of avocados as long as they were recently ordered they NEVER HAD MOLD LIKE THIS! Then when I call to ask them to refund the $3.50 they charged me for the avocado they said they couldn't but they can only send me another. I asked for it whole again because I like to clean it first they said if somethings wrong with another one they send then it's on ME!?! ON ME BUT YOU ARE SENDING MOLDED AVOCADOS!? I don't thinks so. They call the "manager" then tell me they can send me one cut up why send it cut so you can cut off w.e is molded and we good? They said that's my only option since they can't refund the money, there sending it to me now I can guarantee I'm not eating it for fear of what they are gonna do to it since I complained. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, GONNA TAKE THE L ON THIS $3.50. THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!

Ok so twice this store has given me food poison. The first time I thought nothing of it. Until I got it again and it was the same pain and suffering as the last time I will never order from here again. And I did enjoy walking in and seeing the scenery and they staff was nice even hooked up my order a time or two but I hate going through that s&>t 🙃

This review is based on my personal experience. If you're Black, then this place is not for you. Your presence irritates them, and they will begrudgingly serve you to make it known that you're not welcomed there. Lastly, the food was lackluster and high in sodium. Do NOT recommend. You're better off eating at the Arab, African, and Indian establishments, and the food at those places are properly seasoned and reasonably priced.

Horrible service, if you don’t know the family they won’t service you. I was standing there 20 minutes with my husband waiting, 3 other people come in and they bypass me without even asking me what I wanted. The food is horrible btw, and the family that owns this establishment change their prices based on what color you are. I would say avoid at all cost. I would rather travel 2hrs to Washington heights to get food than to get it here. Will report them to the bbb, and a complaint with the city

This place really does make black people not welcome just like it said in the other reviews here. Other reviews confirmed it for me that they have a racist service. Sat down for a holiday for mothers day and served last compared to 9 different other people and rudely Ignored wanting to order drinks. And the food is not even worth the try.

Nice place to have a good meal. Awesome foods of different kinds, beautiful and cool environment, car parking space available but there is no free WiFi though. They need to improve on customer service especially as regards forgetting customers on stand while waiting to get food, or on seat to pay after meal. Perhaps they should employ more staffs.

I would go to this place for manly my son , the woman that worked there all have nasty attitude. I would get a Pina Colada to go all of a sudden without any warning they stopped the to go & no manager available to speak too How does this place runs without a Manager or Supervisor to speak to. Unbelievable
