Dominican Food Corp

Bought rice and beans with pernil. Their pernil is very flavorful and I like the skin piece too. They weigh the meat for portion control, and l they give you a good amount of rice and beans which are very tasty, which I feel I can just eat a whole container of it. Just sad that I didn't see chicharrones, my favorite 😢. Looked at menu, they only have sancocho on Saturdays. Need to come try it one day.

I usually order the Pernil with Yellow Rice amd Red Beans. It's usually excellent. But on Easter day I went and I got for my family and their was barely any Pernil left and the guy refused to bring out a fresh one so I took what was left. The rice was super dry and hard the beans were hard too and the Pernil was super dry. I am so DISAPPOINTED. I'm sad I had to give that to my family on easter day. Theirs been other times where staff just doesnt really understand enough english to give me what I'm asking for which I understand because it's a Dominican place but u should at least have 1 person who speaks enough English to communicate.
