Yum Yum Eastern

My wife and I have kids and haven’t had a date night in over 3 months. We thought we’d spend a nice time at this restaurant after seeing their ad. It looked nice from the outside and we were excited. From the moment we walked in, we were not greeted. When we sat down, the waitress asked what we wanted to drink. When asked for the drink menu, she indicated there was none, only the liquor menu. When we asked if they had anything else, no response. When we proceeded to the order, we wanted to know what the tatarki was and she had no clue where to find it on the menu. We ended up ordering quite a bit of food and asked if that was enough for two people. No response. It felt Like we were inconveniencing her and her co-worker. We were bringing them business and they acted as if they wanted no part of it. My wife and I were so disappointed. We’re still at the restaurant now and will try to make the best of the evening. Needless to say, we will not be coming here again. Shame as their interior decor was pretty nice with warm ambiance. *Update* same person spills hot tea over our table, no apologies. Also proceeds later to ask “what you need” when we were waiting 20 minutes for our udon. She had a frown the entire time we were here. Treating other patrons the same. No respect.

this place has great food, however its very expensive for no reason. also, the staff is very rude and always look at you while you are eating, they are ignorant and not caring enough to bring their costumers water when they arrive. I asked multiple times for them to add lemon and they never remember. Also, they are so rude to the point that they ask for tips while they don't deserve it. i found hair in their food, i also found their food to be very salty and it would hurt my stomach all the time. this place is garbage.

Extremely rude and nasty woman answering the phone. I placed an order here and had called to let them know my old phone number was out of service and gave them the new one to call upon delivery, even checking up on the order afterwards. The order was never delivered because "they called but couldn't reach me." Fine - I placed another order the same day and rather than tell me they wouldn't deliver it they decided to just not show up with the meal. I waited several hours for food that never came that night. The next day out of sheer curiosity I placed another order, this time through grubhub. They left the order open and simply refused to deliver for no reason, all because the woman was trying to spite me, even telling the grubhub representative that contacted the restaurant nasty things and hanging up on them. I had ordered from this restaurant previously without issue, this isn't how you treat your customers. Food is decent, there is way better on Staten Island, stay away.

I ordered shredded chicken with garlic sauce. I requested 2 times med. spice. This was a take out order and I couldn't eat it due to being so spicy. I could of asked for 2 times the spice for what I received. I added sugar and fresh mango so I could eat it, even then it was very spicy. The dish was good except the spice not acceptable.
