The Veranda Cafe

The only reason this place gets 3 stars is because of the location. It's beautiful sitting outside overlooking the golf course. Very relaxing. The service is still not good. I waited 25 minutes for a glass of water and a drink. The food continues to go downhill. I don't think there's ever been a time when they were not out of whatever I wanted to order. My Burger was overcooked and dry with no lettuce or tomato and a burnt bun. Most of the food has very little flavor and the menu is not creative. I enjoy going there but I really hope they would fix the issues with the kitchen and the service.

The venue is beautiful. Tried to book a baby shower and was told to look at menu online. When I arrived to plan my event I was given a brunch menu that was breakfast, no lunch in the brunch for $49.95, double price of online menu that said “upd 2021”. Was told everything online was old and prices and menu (that had lunch choices in the brunch) were wrong. Very disappointed.

I had dinner with a few friends at The Veranda Cafe and had a very nice evening. There was a private party inside, so we sat outside in the back. The view of the golf course was nice. The menu was on the smaller side, but they offered burgers, pastas, sanwiches, etc. The service was great even though the server seemed busy with tables inside as well as outside. There is a bar so we were able to get a glass of wine with dinner.
