New Hing Chinese Restaurant

The food is good, no doubt about it. The owner is a little cheap and there are some discriminatory practices this business need to stop. On one occasion I had ordered Chicken Wings and I was told by the front desk lady (owner) they do not just take Chicken Wings order and I have to order something with it. I mean come on which business on earth will do so? You have a restaurant and you are in customer service business and you are telling your client you cannot offer the item for sale on their menu? This is unfair and unreasonable. The Owner needs training in customer service and how to behave with their customers. On another occasion the owner charged 0.50 cents for extra soy sauce. Who does this on this planet? The 2 extra soy sauce cost 0.50 cents, really? The food is good quality so I am rating this business 3 star but the owners and their staff need to stop overt discrimination and unfair practices by jacking up prices unnecessarily.

I love the food of this place! The fried rice is very tasty to the point that for me this is the best place to eat 'Chinese food' in the whole area. The price is reasonable and one combination platter is good for two people. I never seat inside and eat, since it has more of a 'to go' atmosphere. The front desk worker might appear rude because he seems indifferent, but by no means has be ever been rude to me. So I have no problem with the service there. They are to the point, and the price is very reasonable.

The food is delicious and fresh all the time. The young ladies that answer the phone are always polite. What I dont appreciate is the delivery person's adding their own tip. They'll take the receipt off the bag and give you a round about number. Every PENNY COUNTS !!!!!! SO if my food is $15.40, do not tell me it's $16.00 when in fact it is $15.40. With everything going on today, in the world, can we have honest customer service? Just imagine how many times the delivery person does this... such a shame

Decent portion and pretty fast delivery but the attitude’s beyond bad. Lady messed up my order the first time and I wouldn’t have found out unless I called back to change my order. I called back and realized she had put my beef and shrimp in as pork and shrimp, but I didn’t get mad at that because we all hear things incorrectly sometimes. There was a 2 dollar delivery fee I didn’t know about and wasn’t on the menu either but I didn’t get mad at that either. I got mad when I called back and changed my order to just shrimp but they charged me the same price for both pork and shrimp even though I asked for just shrimp. When I called back to ask about it the lady just replied that she charges for what I asked for the first time even if I change my order. I didn’t bother arguing with her further, just won’t order from them again.

Food isn't bad just dont advertise that you get an egg roll with your combo platter when you don't..I think this might be the only place down by bay street that does this. And pork fried rice should have some pork in it..its a learning experience and I learned something tonight of where I should go..this isn't even worth my time, I couldn't get sauce, really soy/duck sauce??

I absolutely love this place. It's a very small restaurant .however the quality of food and the amount given is amazing! The store is always clean and staff is very friendly. The prices are extremely reasonable. Located near many stores and business so it's convenient for a quick lunch. I'd recommend this place to anyone!
