This is a no frills Mexican place with a menu that includes all the classics. The food taste is good. The price is very affordable. The place was clean. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the food was good, not great.

I've been getting the same dish here for around twenty years and I'm always worried the quality isn't going to live up to the nostalgia but it does. It just does. Every time. I don't know how they do it. Personally the only thing I want when I come back to Staten Island is Fresh Tortillas, specifically the black bean nachos with shrimp, jalapeños and cheese. And a Mandarin Jarritos. Then you've got to go a few doors down to get a scoop of ice cream, but that's a story for another review.
I've never seen somebody unhappy with their meal here. Pick you favorite dish, don't take my word for it. Bon Appétit!

I ordered a chicken n steak quesadilla....this is what they gave us.
Called and they would not fix the order even though we said we'd give this garbage back.
Sadly won't be calling them anymore....I've loved them for years but nope....not good customer service

Moved to Staten Island recently and found Fresh Tortillas&Taco via a friend recommendation. It has quickly become one of my regular places to visit in New Dorp!! Reliable service and food, and never disappoints. I usually get the hard shell tacos (either chicken, steak, or tofu), and the chips&guac. The fried chicken is yummy too.

Customer service has gone downhill. These people have no empathy, & disrespectful. No one wants to eat food from a restaurant with such negativity. Will be calling BBB if there’s no change.
