Lakeport Fish & Chips

Will never return we used to order from here once a month and this place keeps going downhill for 50 bucks i would think we get nice pieces of fish not bits and ends we order one piece meal and a 2 piece meal everytime but this time thats it no more we get end pieces that have no fish in it its just hollow fried pieces of nothing then the tater sauce used to be in closed and sealed sauce now its clear plastic cups with lids i guess they cheap out and buy sauce in bulk now ...the price keeps going higher and the food quality keeps going down the drain good job guys you lost 2 more costumers

Not impressed. Walked in & waited 58min! I understand when one is alone, but I've never waited this long. The complaint chocolate milk tasted sour & was dated Aug 19th?? Something wrong with the fridge? Order was also longer cause he didn't do our full order! Had to wait extra for that. Got home to 1 order both fish & chips were luke warm & 1 piece overcooked with too much batter !! I did get a $10. off next order but not sure if it's worth it?? Might try another location. Was even told by a regular that the fish is Hit & Miss!

We went there today, 17Jun2019 as our 1st time there. We have been to the one in Niagara Falls and really liked it. Today, the guy working was alone and there was a problem in the kitchen with the grease traps. Lots of customers were coming in and calling in. This young man was very impressive. He was able to hold it all together, get every one take care of, even though the store ran out of several fish. He was pleasant with people, even during this very stressful time. Excellent employee! I hope the owner gives him a raise! We WILL go there again.

Friendly service this time. Fries were plentiful but not very tasty even with salt added, and they were on the dry side. The fish (tried the haddock) was average portion, not seasoned, and the batter was thin. The coleslaw was pretty good if you like the creamy kind. I guess for $8, you can't really expect more than an average meal.
