Fresh Catch Seafood Grill

Here for years and missed you, tucked away! On arriving we were curious over how the restaurant isn't visible from the road at all, but on turning off the street, opens to an ample parking area and a welcoming exterior. Interior is tastefully decorated in ocean theme, clean, and NO overwhelming "fishy" odor. We dined on a fully covered, comfortable patio and our waitron was personable, professional, and attentive. 👍👍👍 My husband had grilled hogfish, which he quite enjoyed, and was impressed with the chef's preparation method. As a vegetarian, the menu was limited. However, what the restaurant does offer, they do exceptionally well. The Gorgonzola And Pear Salad was rich in walnuts and dried fruits, ripe sliced pears, and tender lettuce in bite-sized shreds with no bruises (a pet peeve of mine). The raspberry vinaigrette is, bar none, the best I've tasted. Creamy, it has superb raspberry flavor without the unpleasant underbite too many versions have. Overall, a fantastic lunch salad creation! Thank you to the staff for a wonderful visit, we look forward to another visit soon! 🥗

This restaurant has always been very helpful; however, last night was terrible. I called ahead at 4:30 and told them there would be 15 at 5:30. They said they don't take reservations. Call back at 5. Okay, I did. When we got there, they wouldn't seat us until half of us were present. I finally got 7 people. Sat down, and they wouldn't take our drink orders until all 15 people were there. The waitress was snippy. They must have new rules. Not conducive to large tables. I have to say the waitress got better as time went on. It's not her fault. She was trying to stick to the rules. The owners need to review those rules. We will not gather there again. The food was very good!

We finally decided to try Fresh Catch & were NOT disappointed. We had the Golden Tile Fish & Mutton Snapper, both grilled. As well as Bahamian Conch chowder, for an appetizer. Not only did the food live up to our expectations, the service was fantastic ! I believe our server's name was Tiffany. We will definitely be going back !!!

The question was "How was Fresh Catch?" The answer is: disappointing. I have been to Fresh Catch many times and have found it to be good. This last experience was merely satisfactory. Service was sketchy with wrong order being delivered. When companion asked me about my meal my answer was "nothing to write home about." Companion found her fish to be bland. Sorry. I normally don't write reviews unless they are good.
