Three Little Birds Cafe

I went to Scorpa. It's in the 3 little birds cafe Friday and Saturday after 5pm. You order your main dish. it comes with bread with a roasted garlic & olive oil dip. soup, salad, appetizers, pasta, dessert, and a glass of wine. Everything is fresh and delicious. You get a lot of food for a great price. A great place to take a date or even a group of friends. I haven't tried the cafe yet but now I can't wait to go. It's a great concept to do the 5 course meals on the weekend.

I have generally love this cafe and have recommended it to others and brought friends. Interesting menu and quality food, conscientious wait staff and pleasant decor. However this is the third time I have gone a little after 1 pm only to be told "sorry, we're closed." This time the (new? Didn't recognize her) manager saw me seat myself then sent a waiter to come tell me the kitchen was already closed. It is 1:10 and they're supposed to be open til 2 pm. The waiter obviously felt bad delivering the news and had no idea about the reason, jjust that the manager told him to tell me. Why not change the hours posted on the door and online then? And why not talk to customer directly and offer apology and explanation? I'm really disappointed in the poor customer service.
