The Good Apple Cafe

Pretty nice vegan restaurant. Tiny however very affordable! Scrambled tofu was lovely! Well worth the price for all of the food, the tempeh for bacon replacement was good! Very filling, the food potions are amazing! The place seems quite busy too. Gluten free and dairy free friendly is lovely to see more place popping up like this!

Lovely vegan cafe. It's small so you might need to wait for a table. Staff are very friendly. There's a baby change in the toilet and high chairs available. As a vegan it's nice to have a full choice of the menu. The Mexican burrito is really tasty! Lovely cakes to choose from as well that are also available to take away. They also do suspended coffee where you can pay for a coffee that will go to someone else who can't afford it.

This is a very well established cafe selling Vegan food with added education. You're never too old to learn. I had oat milk in my coffee and it was very good. Cows milk just doesn't agree with me. Anyway, I enjoyed the coffee here with oat milk, I've since bought oat milk for my coffee at home. The bagels they do here are fantastic, with the right amount of chewiness. Lovely. The whole experience is worth a visit. There were some very happy eaters in here and there was always somebody waiting whilst another group was finishing off. Vegans will love this place. And those without any specificity in their food groups can eat here too. The food coming out all around me looked and smelled gorgeous.

A cosy, welcoming nook of Sunderland with new exciting specials and a reliably tasty menu. This has become an almost weekly visit now. The variety, value and presentation of this place feels unmatched. The staff are personable, friendly and welcome you as a friend. The specials on the board have always blown me away and are worth checking out each time. The meals are filling, tasty, colourful and although I'm not a sweet fan, I've never been able to say no to a cake, they're that good. I'll continue to visit every time I'm around Sunderland and encourage everyone to do the same.
