Wearside Farm - Dining & Carvery

Went for breakfast 19th Oct 2023, quiet, plenty of breakfast items, all nice and hot. Staff so very friendly, helpful and happy. Food nice as always but the friendliness of the staff make it an extra nice treat. Every member of staff was happy to serve, say hello and make our breakfast a nicer experience.

Excellent service today...it was my daughters 15th birthday today and Josey (If I remember her name right) was brilliant.She put the tables together for 15 people put some birthday decorations on the table and even brought the birthday cake out and sang happy birthday with us all...lovely end of a lovely birthday thank you very much. Would definitely go back!

Nice place with a nice atmosphere and decent food. Food was hit and miss, some things really nice some below average. Garlic bread and halloumi fries starters along with the carvery were very nice. Chicken strips and hunters burger were a let down. The steak and ale pie crust was harder than Kevin Ball. The chicken Tikka starter was like was bang average but great value. Prices are really reasonable and staff are pleasant however it seems to take an age to get served sometimes. There was a queue of about 4 at the carvery that looked like the wee waiting for the E2 with it no where in sight. It wasn't really busy as well. Deserts look really nice and you can takeaway but we didn't have any. Small kids area at the back and outside that can keep the kids entertained.
