Went here for my sisters 30th, food was beautiful and staff were very friendly. Will definitely be going here again

Visited for the first time before a show at the empire. Food was lovely, service good only complaint can give is we were very rushed as it was busy. Literally came with the bill while we were having desert and started to clean the table while we were still sitting there.

Came last year and it was fantastic. Back again and even better. Staff attentive and efficient and very helpful. Food amazing. Servings enormous! No booking but we were seated within a minute and the drinks arrived within 3 mins. Food arrived 5 mins later. Beautifully cooked and piping hot. Would recommend this place to anyone. Will be back next time we are in Sunderland. Thank you to all the staff xxx

Fantastic restaurant, excellent food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere and great cocktails.
Portion sizes are very generous but doesn't impact on the quality, I highly recommend the Surf & Turf, the best meal I've had in a long time.

We had a really lovely meal before going to a show next door at the Theatre.
The staff were really welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was good, food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
We'd certainly book again if we're in Sunderland.

Was there yesterday 17.09.23 and the food was out of this world i had seafood with tagliatelle will be coming back best food ive tasted 10 /10

Delicious Sunday lunch, all of the meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection, gravy was super tasty. Staff were lovely and helpful. 100% will be back again and 100% recommend.

We had an amazing time for our family night out! The staff was lovely and provided us with a speedy service. I cannot stress how delicious the food is and if you are a lobster lover like myself, then you have to try the Surf and Turf! The lemon sorbet was unbelievable too :)

Great quality food and also very competitive price for a city centre restaurant. We had a great couples meal here. Authentic Italian cuisine and lovely drinks as well.
Shout out to Seb whose Mojitos were superb!!!

My absolute favourite place while I stayed in Sunderland. Service was top notch very friendly and fun, the food was fantastic, tasty hot and came out fast. The cocktails are amazing. I would definitely recommend here for food but would book as it was always busy the two times I went. Brilliant place!.
